On the 31st of July, between 16:00 and 16:15 London time (UTC+0), our production system experienced a temporary outage caused by an Oracle Database service disruption outside of our control.
Impact - Users were unable to log in - The Digital Product Passport (DPP) feature was unavailable - Other system functions were also affected
Resolution The system automatically recovered once the database service was restored at 16:15. No action was required from users.
Additional Information This is the first downtime we have observed for the Oracle Database. It remains within the provider’s 99.995% SLA, which allows for up to 26.3 minutes of downtime per year.
